Support for Product Management & Project Management
Background: This company was initiating a project within a new business area; medical devices. Initially, Product Management needed support to identify customer-demand specifications, assess market potential and identify the need for clinical studies. Later on, the company wanted help with Project Management.
Approach: Conlega established the strategy of identifying customer needs through focus groups, interviews and investigations. The addressable markets and key players were mapped. The project was managed with the ultimate goal of achieving CE approval of the product.
Results: A high level of user input was obtained, and the whole project group was able to keep a strong focus on customer needs and market demands during product development. By Conlega taking on a Project Management role, more resources could be freed up for critical project work and the product achieved CE approval with minimal delays.
